New Zealand Open's Contest kicked off this weekend, and Flow team rider Scotty Lago Finds 2nd place in Sloestyle.
August 3rd kicked off the NZ open at Snow Park in Wanaka, one of New
Zealand's premiere snowboard destinations. Flow riders Scotty Lago,
Clair Bidez, Jeremy Thompson, and Mark Anderson, all competed in the NZ
Open, and achieved some impressive results. Clair, was pushing the
limits while suffering a minor injury and ended up 7th place overall.
Mark Anderson's fight through the crowd landed himself 16th in overall
slopestyle results. New Am rider Jeremy Thompson found the pipe to be
his strong hold as he finished with a 12th place. Finishing out the
group was Scotty Lago's most impressive 2nd place finish in slopestyle,
and his Best trick Award for his Back Side 1080. Congratulations, for a
strong finish by all the Flow athletes in attendance.

The Team's New Zealand visit is no over yet. They will continue
training and riding as they await the arrival of Team Photographer Ryan
Hughes. Ryan will be down under for a couple weeks as the team rolls
through to check out their new gear and shoot for next seasons up
coming catalog. Best of Luck and Congratulations, may the rest of their
